Eco-friendly tea bags are produced using an eco-friendly tea-bag manufacturing machine without using aluminum staples.
IMA, an Italian packaging-machinery manufacturer, developed an eco-friendly tea-bag manufacturing machine which does not use aluminum staples. Hishidai Packs was the first to introduce the machine.
Previously, production processes (including feeding and filling of tea leaves as raw material and forming and cutting of filter paper) were often done manually. This machine enables automatic integrated manufacturing and can produce approximately 12,000 packs per hour.
